SCENIC BODY / BODY WEATHER / THE VOICE OF THE INVISIBLE

My pedagogical research is divided into three main areas, according to different ages and interests.

SCENIC BODY

This workshop is designed for children. It is a proposal created by the space CRA’P, grounded in the performing arts of theatre and dance. The workshop offers a space to discover one’s own body, the relationship with others, and the creative process. Through a variety of techniques, each child is encouraged to develop body awareness, attention, and movement from a sensory, open, and personal place. Getting to know the body fosters greater sensitivity, confidence, and security, supporting communication and relationship with the surrounding environment. A space of trust is established so that each child can explore and develop their creativity, accompanying both individual and group learning processes.

BODY WEATHER

The second area, Body Weather, is a practice I propose for adults, primarily for those interested in scenic work through a deep and challenging bodily approach. Body Weather M_B Training (Mind and Body) is a Japanese training method created by Min Tanaka—a rigorous and demanding practice. Throughout this workshop, we seek to reach states of heightened energy, revitalizing and nourishing potential while experiencing total commitment and surrender. Absurd, playful, and oneiric images are used as creative triggers.

The work is grounded in a meticulous exploration of the body—not only as a structure of bones, muscles, organs, and joints, but also as a complex field of states and sensations. The body is approached as a vibrational bag of water, and movement as a necessary reaction, the consequence of a physical–emotional impulse.

Texts and images are used as vehicles for expression. We observe how the body is affected by movement through different dynamics, speed, and breathing, and how movement itself is transformed through the use of text, adding meaning, attitudes, and conditions to the physical action.

THE VOICE OF THE INVISIBLE

The third area, The Voice of the Invisible, is an open-level workshop (online or in person) based on a personal blend of different movement techniques. It is conceived as a practice of healing and physical restoration through listening.

The sonority of the body is approached as that of a finely tuned instrument—elastic, strong, subtle, melodic, harmonic, rhythmic, organized, calm, energetic, and balanced. These qualities are attributes we are born with, and when, within the fragile balance of living, one or more of them falter, a practice becomes necessary—one that opens a portal to reclaim what is inherently ours.

Online work presents a greater challenge than being in a yoga, dance, or temple space. Part of the proposal lies in how you transform your own space (home–body) into a site for personal exploration. This may be symbolic, yet it is essential. We will work with microphones turned on, while you are free to relax knowing that no one will be watching, correcting, or judging you. Although my voice and movements will serve as guidance, during this hour you become the primary source of desire—and therefore of movement.

This workshop is divided into three modules:

  1. Fiber

  2. Fascia

  3. Fascination
